Sansevieria Hallii

Sansevieria Hallii (Baseball Bat) is a rare, slow growing very attractive Sansevieria with few blue-gray thick leaves that are nearly cylindrical, which gives the species the common name of Baseball Bat. Sansevieria Hallii also has variegated patterns that travel horizontally along the leaves. It can produce blooms that develop from the base of the plant close to the soil. The flower is cream-colored, and the tubes have a light violet/pink hue. They grow in clusters with multiple long tubes open to a beautiful display of stamens and petals unfurling at the ends. This plant comes from Mozambique, Zimbabwe and northern Limpopo in South Africa where it grows it the shade of trees and shrubs on rock outcroppings from 500 to 2,000 feet in elevation.

Pot: Plant will be delivered Bare Root. (Sansevieria Hallii)

Sun Exposure: Part sun to shade

Growth: Slow

Mature Size: 3-4 ft. tall, 4-5 ft. wide

Maintenance: Low

Soil: Like most succulents, these plants prefer sandy soil (cactus mix) that has excellent drainage that does not retain water.

Water: Let the soil dry out between watering. Watering every week to every other week is generally enough. If growing in a pot, ensure not to overwater. Overwatering will cause roots to rot.
